The Secretariat forms the operational backbone of the George Guda Foundation. It is the engine that transforms strategy into action, ensuring that programmes run efficiently, beneficiaries are served effectively, and organisational goals are achieved with excellence.
Composed of skilled professionals and support staff, the Secretariat manages the day-to-day activities of the Foundation—from coordinating projects and processing applications, to handling communication, record-keeping, research, monitoring, and reporting.
Working closely with the Executive Leadership and under the guidance of the Board of Directors, the Secretariat ensures that every initiative is implemented with accuracy, accountability, and transparency. They maintain the systems and structures that keep the Foundation compliant, organised, and responsive to community needs.
But beyond administration, the Secretariat represents the human heart of our operations. They are often the first point of contact for beneficiaries, partners, and stakeholders—listening to needs, offering guidance, and ensuring timely support. Their dedication keeps the Foundation grounded, accessible, and people-centered.
Through efficiency, professionalism, and a deep sense of service, the Secretariat helps drive the Foundation’s mission forward—creating a solid foundation upon which empowerment and justice can truly flourish.
